WHO Tractor Ride

If you were up early this week, you might have seen tractors driving throughout the Quad Cities.

That’s because WHO Radio held their 22nd annual Tractor Ride from Monday until Wednesday.

This was the first time it was hosted in the Quad Cities.

They drove a total of 200 miles within three days at about 12 miles per hour.

Many have made the event into a family tradition. We spoke to the Glade family, who tell us they have had three generations participate in the ride.

Some Glade relatives even came as far as Texas to join in.

“It’s become a family affair and we’ve enjoyed it every year and it brings the family closer and it gives everyone a common goal,” said Dennis Glade.

“It fun when you go on the tractor because we can go everywhere and we can go fast. A tiny bit fast and I can watch my dad drive,” said Jacey Glade.

Jacey has celebrated her last 3 birthdays on the Tractor Ride and is celebrating a few days early this year.

The Tractor Ride wrapped up yesterday. For more information on the even you can click here.
