Woman, 4 juveniles arrested after running from a stolen SUV

A woman and four juveniles were arrested after running from a stolen vehicle in Davenport early Friday.

Davenport Police responded to the area of 3300 West 52nd Street around 2:34 a.m. after a suspicious vehicle was reported with people inside who were possibly checking car doors.

Officers located the vehicle — a Ford SUV reported stolen on Wednesday afternoon from the 1600 block of West Locust Street — and attempted to stop it.

The vehicle drove away from officers off the road and toward Silver Creek, struck a drainage area, sustained extensive damages and was disabled.

Five people ran from the vehicle and were quickly apprehended by officers. No injuries were reported.

All five were charged related to the stolen vehicle. The investigation continues to determine if other incidents are related to those arrested.

Dramya Holt, 18, of Davenport was charged with second degree theft and interference with official acts and booked into the Scott County Jail.

The juveniles — a 16-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy were charged with second degree theft and turned over to guardians.
