Woman killed in morning shooting identified


UPDATE: The victim in Friday morning’s shooting has been identified by the Davenport Police Department.

Police say it was Destiny Orr-Clark, 19, of Davenport.


DAVENPORT – There were multiple reports of shots fired Friday morning on both sides of the river. 

The first reports came out of Davenport.

It happened off 36th Street near the Old town mall around 12:30 a.m.

When police arrived they found an adult female who had been shot and left with life-threatening injuries.  Police say she was transported to Genesis East Hospital but died from her injuries. 

The second happened around 1:30 in Moline off of Railroad Avenue.

Moline police say witnesses reported hearing two shots and seeing a car speeding off. Police searched the area and didn’t find any casings.
