Hawkeyes, Ferentz discuss recent suspensions

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Over the course of the past month four Hawkeyes have been suspended for the team's season opener versus Northern Illinois.

Regarding the suspensions head coach Kirk Ferentz said, "For a team to be competitive and to be successful, it all begins with just setting high expectations, clear expectations, and then trying to create an environment where we have great accountability and great teamwork, so I don't think there's anything extraordinary going on, nothing alarming in my mind, but there are things that have to be addressed, and we do have clearly stated expectations that we expect everybody to abide by."
