It is going to be a very special basketball season for an area athletics coach.
Galesburg Girls Basketball Head Coach Evan Massey is celebrating his 50th year of coaching, with 46 of those years with the Silver Streaks. As if that weren’t impressive enough, Massey is closing in on 1,000 wins, and he talked about the honor at the Western Big Six Girls Basketball banquet.
