Steamwheelers hope offensive outburst is building block for second half of season

It was an offensive outburst that helped the Steamwheelers end their three-game losing streak with a 72-54 win over Tucson on Saturday night.

Quarterback EJ Hilliard led the way with 247 yards and five touchdowns through the air. He also added two rushing scores to help the ‘Wheelers to their largest point total of the season.

The players and coach Cory Ross said this win could be a building block for the second half of the year.
