Ready for more? Next winter system coming Tuesday night

The snow hasn’t even finished coming down on Sunday, and yet another round of winter weather is moving into the picture for the QCA.

Here’s what we know right now.

When: This next system will start to move in from the southwest Tuesday evening, continue through the overnight, and likely wrap up Wednesday afternoon.

What & Where: Snow, sleet, & freezing rain will all be possible at times. Right now, areas north & west of the Quad Cities have the best shot at heavier snow. Lighter snowfall, with periods of sleet & mixed precipitation, is more likely to the southeast.

With so many question marks, it’s a bit premature to forecast any amounts as of this writing.
