It was nice having bright blue skies in the area the past week. Unfortunately, we will be starting the new work week with rainfall. There is a low pressure system that is expected to come through the area tomorrow evening bringing the Quad Cities area between a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch of rain. Areas South and East of the QCA could see greater amounts. The monthly average rainfall has been significantly below normal. This forecasted rainfall will definitely be much needed.
