Will the cold ease up anytime soon?

Hoping for a break from the colder than normal weather?  It doesn’t look promising around the Quad Cities.

Here’s a forecast product from the NWS Climate Prediction Center and it shows a very good chance of below normal temperatures in the Quad Cities from March 5-11.

And if we expand this map out a bit, you can see the places likely to have above normal temperatures are few and far between!

South Florida and a little bit of the desert Southwest are going to be above normal.  And that’s it.

So if this weather has you down, and misery loves company, it looks like we have plenty of company with these colder then normal temps set to continue.
